006 Finding the resilience to navigate the challenges that life brings with Nomusa Mguni Mhlanga

On this episode, Lilian Mboyi is joined by Nomusa on The Girl in the Mirror Podcast.

Nomusa is a successful career and businesswoman who has achieved a lot of personal victories. From leadership roles at school to attaining 2 degrees, becoming a leader in municipalities, and running an online business.

Though she wore an outer garment of personal achievements, on the inside she wrestled with fear and doubts stemming from a troubled adolescence. At the age of ten, her mom encouraged her to fight to pull out of surgery and carry that attitude of being able to accomplish anything she put her mind to with her through life.

Those words empowered her to push through and rise in her career path despite the fear and self-doubt. She has finally come full circle to deal with her childhood nightmares and is emerging to rise as a mature woman who is excited to support and empower other women through their own challenges by sharing her story.
